Here is what you can expect from the Wedding Photography:

Pre-Wedding / Engagement Photo Shoot

Once you have secured your wedding booking I will arrange a pre-wedding photo shoot with you. This will give you the opportunity to have some relaxed photographs taken, perhaps where you got engaged, or maybe even at your wedding venue, and gives you an idea of what to expect on your Wedding Day. This offers you as a couple the opportunity to become familiar with being photographed by me and to see exactly the kind of photographs and style which suit you. I can discuss with you any poses that you might like to have on your Wedding Day. From this session you can use the photographs for your Wedding invitation cards, “Thank-You” cards or on your Wedding Day menu cards.

Bride’s Home

The most important part of Wedding Photography is being able to tell the story of your Wedding Day through images. It begins early in the morning with the Bridal party getting ready at home, from the time the Bride is helped prepare for her big day by the Bridesmaids. This is an opportunity to capture the preparations in the most natural way, along with the traditional poses for the Wedding dress, shoes, engagement ring, flowers, cards and booklets etc.

Prior to the Wedding Ceremony

I meet the Groom at the church and take some relaxed and informal shots of the Groom, the Best Man and Groomsmen, and his family, while we wait for the Bride to arrive. It is also an opportunity to photograph the rings, and the flowers and candles at the church. I will also capture some of your relatives and friends arriving, all before heading to the ceremony. These natural and informal shots are an important part of your special day. I remain there for the Bride’s arrival at the church/registry office and I will take a series of formal portraits; the Bride with her father, and the Bride with her Bridesmaids, will all be captured before the ceremony commences.

The Wedding Ceremony

I will take the Bride before and while she is walking up the aisle, along with photographs of the handover, the rings, the kiss, lighting the candles, the exchange of vows, the signing the register and the newly married couple walking down the aisle. If it is a Civil Ceremony your personal pledges to each other will be captured.

After the Wedding Ceremony

After the Wedding Ceremony, depending on your venue and the weather on the day, it may be possible for the formal photographs of the families and the Bridal Party to be taken outside the church or registry office. If you have a special location to visit on your way to the reception it may provide an opportunity for the Bride & Groom to have their own private Wedding photographs taken there. Later we can be re-joined by the Bridal Party for photographs with the Bridesmaids and Groomsmen. Finally, we go to the function room where I will photograph the Bride & Groom cutting the cake. While I am there I will photograph the floral arrangements and table place settings, and afterwards I will take candid photographs of the guests enjoying themselves. I will also capture lots of detail at the reception - the tables, the floral arrangements, the place settings and decorations, the Bride & Groom “cutting the cake”. Finally I will photograph the newly married couple’s entrance for the Wedding Meal.

Optional

Depending on the package chosen, photographs will be taken of the various speeches and finally your first dance as a married couple.
